Job Description TheraEX Staffing Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Omaha, Nebraska. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med-Surg/Telemetry / Minimum 2 years recent acute care Med-Surg/Tele experience required / Active NE (or compact) RN license required at submission / Required Certification: BLS (AHA) / 60-bed adult Med-Surg unit with telemetry (very limited peds); common diagnoses include post-surgical, diabetes, heart failure, hypertension, weakness, and cancer / RN ratio 1:5; RNs read own tele strips / EMR: EPIC; IV pumps: Alaris / Trauma Level II facility / Floating required to 6E (Acute Rehab) and Geriatric Psych unit / Schedule: 12-hour nights (18:30–07:00), 36 guaranteed hours/week, every other weekend; 13-week contract starting 02/16/2026 / Orientation: 12 hours; must pass open-book exam with 90% (skills-based, resources provided) / Dress code: Navy scrubs; artificial nails prohibited / Radius rule: 50 miles (driver’s license required at submittal); cannot be current employee (FT/PT/PRN) within CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity system / Cancellation policy: Facility may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment / Pay package negotiable TheraEX Staffing Services Job ID 1045809.
