$75,000–$87,000 | Direct Hire | Omaha, NE If you’re a finance or
business professional who enjoys managing the full
picture—accounting, analysis, reporting, and operational
support—this role offers stability, purpose, and meaningful impact
within a respected research-focused organization. In this position,
you’ll support a specialized operational department within a larger
academic and research environment. You’ll play a key role in
maintaining financial accuracy, improving processes, and partnering
with internal stakeholders to support informed decision-making

Get to Do Record, maintain, and analyze financial transactions
including procurement, AP, and AR Maintain accurate ledgers and
ensure compliance with accounting standards and institutional
policies Analyze budgets and expenditures, identifying trends and
financial variances Forecast revenue and expenses to support
planning and decision-making Prepare routine financial reports and
assist with special and ad hoc analyses Extract, organize, and
analyze data from multiple financial systems and databases Review
and improve financial processes, procedures, and internal controls
Collaborate with internal administrators to explain budget
variances and recommend solutions Support daily administrative and
operational activities of the business office Manage vendor
relationships, including sourcing and negotiating pricing
Experience Needed Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance,
Business Administration, or a related field 2 years of accounting,
or financial management experience Strong understanding of
accounting principles and financial analysis Ability to maintain
and balance financial ledgers/ budgets Proficiency with Microsoft
Office Suite Excellent communication, organizational, and
interpersonal skills Preferred Experience Cost accounting SAP
