Job Description Job Description We are seeking a reliable and skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position plays a key role in maintaining the safety, comfort, and overall appearance of our hotel for both guests and staff. If you are hands-on, detail-oriented, and enjoy a variety of tasks, we’d love to hear from you. Position Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative upkeep throughout the hotel. This includes guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. This is a full-time position with required on-call availability to respond to maintenance needs as they arise. Key Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and on-call emergencies Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment and facilities are in good working order Inspect rooms and common areas for safety hazards or needed repairs Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance logs Assist with seasonal and special projects as needed Follow all safety guidelines and hotel standards Qualifications Prior maintenance experience preferred (hotel or hospitality experience a plus) Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve independently Strong attention to detail and time-management skills Ability to lift, push, pull, and stand for extended periods Must be dependable and able to work on-call as scheduled Compensation & Benefits $300 Hiring Bonus $150 paid after 90 days of employment $150 paid after 6 months of employment $50 Monthly Cell Phone Credit Dental, Vision, and Supplemental Health Insurance options Holiday Pay Sick Pay Vacation Pay after 1 year of employment Hotel employee discounts at other IHG properties We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
