responsibilities and qualifications. As a Maintenance Worker I with
our Sewer team, you will be performing a variety of tasks in the
construction and maintenance of sewers, streets, parks, equipment,
and City facilities including: Assisting in the maintenance and
repair of sanitary and storm sewer lines/systems to prevent and
resolve blockages, leaks, and environmental hazards Clearing
obstructions and roots from sewer lines using high pressure
jetting, root cutting, and chemical application Inspecting sewer
system through the use of mobile video equipment Operating of heavy
and light construction equipment as required Performing event setup
and takedown Helping with snow removal and providing support to the
other Public Works teams as needed Qualifications and skills
needed: High school diploma or GED equivalent Possess a valid
driver's license Ability to work outdoors in various weather
conditions and physically enter/exit a confined space such as
sanitary manholes or utility vaults Basic knowledge of procedures
utilized in sewer maintenance and repair Strong work ethic, good
attitude, and safety focused Ability to maintain regular and
dependable attendance This is a full-time position working Monday -
Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (Labor Day to Memorial Day) and from
6:00 am to 2:30 pm (Memorial Day to Labor Day). Note: A background
check, physical examination, and drug screen will follow all
