Job Description:

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience. Experience working with reliability and quality test data or manufacturing execution systems. Experience in data analysis and visualization using SQL, JMP, Python, or similar. Experience performing root cause failure analysis or process improvements in a data center, industrial, or manufacturing environments. Experience working in computing hardware quality, product engineering, test engineering, or electronic hardware systems issue resolution. Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, or other relevant engineering disciplines. 3 years of experience in quality or manufacturing, or product engineering in cloud hardware technology or electronic hardware systems. Experience with advanced statistical or statistics based methodologies (e.g., design of experiments, statistical process controls, six sigma etc.). Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams using a practical and solution-oriented approach. Experience in technical leadership, project management, and executive communication. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Manage multiple projects, some of which will be complex and large-sized, lead cross-team initiatives, and identify/implement process improvements for the larger organization. Initiate, drive, and implement innovative product, process, tools development, improvement projects separately and in a cross-functional environment. Gather and analyze manufacturing/field data within the data center environment to extract actionable insights and continuous improvement opportunities. Review, edit, improve, and create technical documentation (deployment guides, population documents, repairs guides) based on data, investigations, technician feedback, and quality fundamentals. Travel up to 20% of the time as needed.
