Hillcrest Health Services, a healthcare provider focused on aging adults, has an opportunity for a Director of Business Development.

The Director of Business Development is responsible for leading a team who expands and maintains referral relationships as well as generates and cultivates referrals and admissions to ensure all company goals are met.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in hospital and facility targeted business development required.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in leading teams preferred.
  • Must be detail oriented and able to work in a fast paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
    • Maintains effective strategies and tactics for all service lines supported through the use of Blueprints, POAs, and other critical thinking and strategic documents. Regularly updates leaders on advancement of plans through participation in coordination meetings.
    • Establishes monthly performance targets for team member and provides routine updates on their progress towards achievement.
    • Effectively manages team members through 1:1 meetings, coaching, and ride-alongs to ensure budgeted census goals are achieved and strategic marketing tactics are executed as planned.
    • Ensures the referral processes are working effectively and leads changes when needed. Trains and supervises the use of shared referral processing documents to include SNF Tracker, potentials doc, live census, referral source platforms/EHRs, etc.
    • Lead/Facilitate weekly meetings and monthly DREAMS Team meetings and supports content/discussion as directed. Actively promotes Care Navigators, Community Relations Specialists and DREAMS Team collaboration.
    • Creates a culture of collaboration between Community Relations Specialists, Care Navigators, and Service Line Navigator/Admission Coordinator team members through on-call support, PTO coverage planning, and routine touchpoints with Service Line Navigators.Benefits include:
