Activities related to these responsibilities include short range planning, evaluating, Quality Assurance Activities, communicating, and day to day supervision of assigned staff and settings. About Us: At Duet (formerly ENCOR), we provide support services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities with a focus on empowerment and independence throughout 5 counties in Eastern Nebraska. We assist in the activities of daily living, provide community engagement opportunities, job coaching and life skills training, as well as skilled nursing care as needed. Job Summary: Under direct supervision of the Coordinator, the manager is responsible for assuring quality delivery of community-based services. As a manager, you will oversee the direct line staff who assist adults with developmental disabilities (DD) and serve as an emergency point of contact. You will oversee the overall functions of either a day services location or a residence including the staff and individuals in service. You will help create and implement community engagement projects and programs designed to empower adults with DD to live life to its fullest. A Day in the Life:

  • Manage, schedule, train and develop the front-line staff (Direct Support Professionals)
  • Audit documentation received from DSPs to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Assist with managing location fiscal budget including ensuring billing is accurate
  • Plan and oversee implementation of community engagement programs
  • Serve as emergency point of contact for DSPs
  • Assisting those we serve in the activities of daily living as needed For the safety of those we serve, we ask you possess the following:
    • 1-year experience in community-based services preferred
    • Be at least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED
    • A valid driver's license in good standing with a fairly clean driving record
    • A vehicle that could be used to transport individuals in service
    • Willing to complete background check, drug screen, and pre-employment physical
    • Demonstrated ability to utilize basic computer functions and email
    • Familiarity with Therap (preferred, not required)
    • Ability to inspire a team through actions and words
    • Demonstrated great communication skills (verbal and written) What Makes us Special:
