Summary: The Account Executive - Groups/Hospitality is responsible for generating new business by selling group and hospitality tickets, maintaining customer/client relationships, and serving the Omaha metropolitan community. This position is responsible for relationship building with current clients, and renewal of existing agreements. This role will operate mainly via phone and email but will also be required to maintain a presence in the community. Responsibilities:

  • Represent the organization at in-house ballpark events and off-site community events promoting ticket sales and the organization
  • Build and foster relationships with past, current, and potential new clients
  • Network and build relationships in Omaha and the surrounding metropolitan area
  • Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and yearly team-based sales goals
  • Research, develop and manage a list of potential new partners
  • Make sales contacts mainly via phone and email to area organizations and follow up as necessary through all points in the calendar year
  • Proactively create opportunities for new business with existing customers
  • Maintain records of all customers and prospects by utilizing CRM tool
  • Work with the front office team to achieve the objectives of the advertising sales, marketing, tickets and community relations departments
  • Provide excellent customer service and care to all customers and prospects
  • Other duties as assigned Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Sports Marketing, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred (but not required)
    • Prior experience with ticket management CRM is a plus!
    • Ability to comfortably present sales material to potential clients
    • Ability to collaborate in a team environment
    • Valid driver's license and ability to drive for organizational business
    • Ability and willingness to work varied and long hours including nights, weekends, and holidays Working Conditions: This job operates in an office environment located at a ballpark. This individual routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and copiers.
