Dialysis Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care at one
of DCI's in-center hemodialysis units as part of a patient care
team. Our RNs are integral in ensuring safe care and the highest
quality outcomes are prioritized for every patient.Schedule:
Potential fulltime shifts vary from four 10-hour shifts or three
12-hour shifts and are set upon hiring; Sundays off; no overnight

Responsibilities What You Can Expect:--- Prepare dialysis machine,
its alarms, and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are
met--- Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and
procedures--- Ongoing patient education, training and health
coaching--- Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and
communicating changes with physician and families--- Administer and
chart all prescribed medications--- Follow CDC/CMS infection
control regulations--- Participate in patient care conferences,
rounds and chart reviews--- Document required patient education
efforts --- Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals---
Assist in medication inventory maintenance--- Lead a small patient
care team--- Contribute to onboarding new staff members as
directed--- Additional tasks as requested Job Requirements:
Successful Candidates Bring:--- Excellent communication skills---
Demonstrated clinical excellence--- Desire to collaborate with care
teams--- Ability to problem solveEducation/Training:--- Accredited
nursing degree required--- Dialysis experience not required--- DCI
provides a 3-month comprehensive training, including classroom
group sessions and one-on-one skills training--- New graduates
