Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor
and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Omaha, Nebraska. Job
Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery
Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/07/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours
per week Shift: 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type: Travel 2
Openings! *Must be able to circulate in OR In addition to ensuring
that our Traveler RNs are able to circulate the ORs, we also need
to screen for competency in normal newborn assessments and routine
baby care. We do have the expectation that these nurses will float
to Postpartum on occasion and this requires care of the infant as
well as the mom. Department: Labor & Delivery *Certifications: BLS,
NRP* of L&D Beds: 16 labor rooms and 9 antepartum rooms of OR
Suites on the unit for C-Sections: 3 of Triage beds: 7 bed triage
unit where they assess patients who are greater than 20 weeks with
pregnancy complaints of Postpartum beds: 36 of Births per day?
Month? Year?: Up to 400 per month Do you follow AWHONN guidelines
for ratios?: 1:1-2 labors, 1:2-3 antepartum Common diagnoses/Types
of patients: High-risk OB and routine obstetric care Are RNs
required to titrate drips?: Yes EFM System: Obix Shifts &
Scheduling: 0630-1900, 1830-0700 // Self scheduling, can
accommodate most schedule requests Weekend Requirements: Every
third weekend, but could be up to every other based on unit need
Holiday Requirements: 1 major, 1 minor Floating Requirements: Will
float to Postpartum, occasional float to the house to be a "sitter"
Scrub Color/Dress code: Surgical scrubs provided Attributes that
