TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified Med/Surg RN in Lincoln, Nebraska, 68510! Pay Information
$2,200 per week About The Position Job Title: Med Surg Registered
Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Med Surg
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours
Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RN License Required
Certifications: BLS Required Must-Have: Strong clinical skills and
ability to work in a fast-paced environment Description: The
position is for a Med Surg Registered Nurse. The unit has a total
of 42 beds. The nurse-patient ratio is typically 1:5-6. Staff may
experience a 1:6 ratio at least once a week. Charge nurses are
available on each shift. Charge nurses do take patient assignments.
There are no titratable drips, except for Heparin. Respiratory
therapy is available 24 hours on the floor. Central telemetry
monitoring is available, along with a centralized telemetry
station. Patient care techs assist on the unit with a ratio of
1:10-12. Shifts are scheduled from 0630 to 1900 and 1830 to 0700.
Weekend and holiday work may be required as needed. There is no
on-call or standby requirement. Floating to other units may be
necessary, including PCU or Burn. The dress code requires navy blue
scrubs. There will be both classroom and clinical orientation
specific to the unit. Please acknowledge any request for time off
upfront, as additional requests may not be accommodated. The
facility may cancel up to four shifts within the duration of the
assignment. Charting will be done using the EPIC system.
