Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 01/15/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Position: Diagnostic Medical Sonographer/n/nRole Overview:/nPerforms diagnostic ultrasound procedures under physician supervision for patients across the age continuum using ultrasound technology to assist in medical diagnosis./n/nEquipment/Systems:/n/nPhilips Ultrasound/n/nEPIC EMR/n/nExperience & Education:/n/nGraduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program/n/nMinimum 1 year acute care hospital experience/n/nPediatrics/neonates experience preferred/n/nPhilips & recent EPIC experience preferred/n/nCertifications Required:/n/nARDMS–RDMS (AB) & (OB-GYN)/n/nBLS (AHA, ARC, or Military Training Network)/n/nNeonatal neurosonography or pediatric sonography certification preferred/n/nSkills Required:/nStrong communication, critical thinking, confidentiality, independent workflow, prioritization, and ability to work with minimal supervision./n/nScheduling & Call:/n/nRotating schedule, 36 hours/week/n/nCall: Every 5th weekend one weekday evening/n/nClinician always works with support/n/nFloating:/nFloats between 4 campuses: West, East, Radiology Plaza, April Sampson Cancer Center (South)/n/nDepartment Details:/n/n2 ultrasound rooms per location/n/n~10 cases/day (varies by site)/n/nOrientation:/n/nTraining with department coordinator/n/n12 hours non-billable orientation (guaranteed hours do not apply)/n/nDress Code:/n/nLight blue scrubs/n/nImportant Notes:/n/nNo local candidates accepted (50-mile radius restriction)/n/nGuaranteed hours do not apply during orientation/n/nClient may call off up to 48 hours per 13 weeks/n/nRotating schedule details provided in posting About Malone Healthcare - Nursing With a commitment to providing a higher standard of service and experience in patient care, Malone Healthcare places expert nurses and allied health professionals in rewarding careers throughout the United States.
