Description: Unit notes: RN candidates must pass a skills exam
during orientation. The exam is open book and resources will be
provided. A score of 90% is required to pass. Candidates must not
be working full-time, part-time, or PRN with any affiliated
facilities within a specified radius. Driver's license is required
for verification of location. Artificial nails are not permitted in
patient care areas. Refusal to comply will result in contract
termination. This unit serves a diverse patient population. Common
patient diagnoses include post-surgical recovery, diabetes, heart
failure, hypertension, weakness, and cancer. RN-to-patient ratio is
5:1. Candidates must be willing to float to other assigned units as
needed. This position involves caring for adult patients, with a
small number of pediatric cases annually. Scrubs must be navy blue.
Electronic medical records are managed using a specified system.
Candidates should have a strong commitment to compassionate care
