Job Description Job Summary and Responsibilities At CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy, our focus is patient-centered care. Our level I trauma center and academic medical center campus is designed to heal the body, mind, and spirit of every person in a more comfortable, less stressful hospital environment. Our full range of medical services includes trauma services, heart and vascular care, emergency services, surgery, maternity, cancer care, and diagnostic imaging. We are offering up to a $15,000 Sign On Bonus and up to $10,000 in student loan repayment assistance for this position. Progression is expected in the areas of leading through mission vision and values, patient/customer focus, taking ownership, health care knowledge, teamwork, clinical performance improvement, service excellence, decision making and critical thinking, and patient safety. 1. Evidence-based Practice (EBP) and Patient Care: Builds skills to utilize current evidence based practice knowledge, the nursing process, critical thinking and problem solving skills to provide holistic care to individuals across the lifespan and care continuum. 2. Interprofessional Collaboration and Communication: Learns to collaborate and communicate with the interprofessional team to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Job Requirements - Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred - 0-12 months of professional nursing (RN) experience - Active RN licensure in the state of Nebraska, Iowa, or nurse licensure compact. - Basic life support is required upon hire. Acceptable credentialing bodies and certifications include the following: American Heart Association: Basic Life Support. - Additional certifications may be required based on population(s) served and services provided MedsurgRN2025 Where You'll Work At CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy, our focus is patient-centered care. Pay Range $36.00 - $52.20 /hour
