Job Description Family Medicine Physician – Make a Difference in

Association of Nebraska (HCAN) is actively recruiting a Family
Medicine Physician to join our Federally Qualified Health Center
(FQHC) in Fremont, Nebraska, where you will provide high-quality,
patient-centered medical care for all. Utilizing an integrated care
approach, our providers work collaboratively to address all aspects
of patients’ health and believe that exceptional, compassionate

work matters Your Role: - Provide direct patient care to clinic
patients – examine, diagnose, and prescribe appropriate treatment
plans - Maintain health records for all patients through the use of
electronic health records - Provide continuity of care to patients,
and serve in rotation for both after-hour care coverage and Quick
Care coverage as appropriate - Participate in the review,
development, and training of patient care policies, procedures,
protocols, and standing orders - Collaborate with an
interdisciplinary team to improve health outcomes - Provide
professional perspective and direction in the development of the
community health care plan What We Are Looking For: - Graduate of
an accredited school of medicine with an unrestricted license to
practice medicine in the state of Nebraska - Current DEA license
required - Knowledge of public health principles and practices -
Demonstrated professional commitment to providing services to
medically under-served individuals in a public health setting -
Ability to foster strong patient-provider relationships - Current
certificate in BLS and ACLS - Administrative experience as a
physician in implementing community health programs preferred
