The Pre/Post Assistant Manager, has the privilege of leading an
experienced team, including RNs and CNAs, during day-to-day
operations ensuring efficient workflow, regulatory compliance, and
high-quality patient care in addition to the strategic planning of
the department/organization. This position has a high degree of
autonomy and is responsible for effective decision making and
collaboration with other departments to ensure the highest possible
value to the patient through excellence in quality, service, and
financial management. You will be an integral part of an

Position details Status Full-Time Shift Days FTE / Hours 1.0 / 40
Schedule Mon - Fri: Four 10-Hour Shifts Position Requirements
Education : Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required
. Bachelor's degree preferred. Licensure : Registered Nursing
licensed in the State of Nebraska or eligible compact state
required. Certification : Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced
Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life (PALS)
certifications required. Experience : 2 years of clinical
experience required. 1 years leadership skills/experience required.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Ability to manage staff
scheduling, inventory control, and administrative workflows. Strong
leadership, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work with
diverse teams Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and
understanding of surgical center operations High level of critical
thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a
fast-paced environment Knowledge of healthcare regulations
including HIPAA, OSHA, and accreditation standards (e.g. The Joint
Commission) Essential Job Functions Assist in overseeing daily
operations of the unit ensuring efficiency and compliance with
policies and procedures Supervise and support administrative and
clinical staff assisting with hiring, training, and performance
management Monitor and maintain compliance with federal, state, and
accreditation regulations Collaborate with the management team on
budgeting, financial reporting, and cost management initiatives
Address staff and patient concerns with the intent to improve
patient satisfaction and experience Assist with quality assurance
initiatives, risk management, and infection control procedures Act
as a liaison between surgeons, nurses, staff, and external vendors
Participate in operational planning and implementation of process
improvement initiatives as needed Create and foster teamwork and
engagement within the department Attend, plan, and assist in
leading department meetings and educational opportunities Ensure
care delivery system provided meets cultural and age-related needs
of the patient population Demonstrate the ability to perform
essential staff functions and assist with direct patient care as
needed Employee is responsible for all other duties as assigned for
which competency has been demonstrated. Physical requirements: This
position is classified as Medium Work in the Dictionary of
Occupational Titles, requiring the exertion of 20 to 50 pounds of
force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently,
and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly
to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of
those for Light Work. Must be able to pass background check. We
also conduct pre-employment physical and drug testing. Any job
offer will be contingent upon successful completion of a
pre-employment physical with a drug screen, background check and
obtaining active licensures per job requirements.
