to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68105!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele
Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12
Experience: 2 years of prior experience required in a large, urban
hospital License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS
required; ACLS strongly preferred Must-Have: Must have experience
managing drips on all floors EPIC charting experience is required
First-time travelers will not be accepted unless they have 2 years
of experience in a Level I Academic Medical Center Ability to float
within scope to meet facility needs, which may include floating to
a nearby campus Description: 36 or 48-hour option and 13 or 26-week
contract option are available. RTO blackout dates due to special
event: June 11, 2026 - June 22, 2026. Total of 4 weekend shifts out
of 8 possible in a 4-week period are required. Weekend shifts will
include Saturdays and Sundays. Nights will include Friday and
Saturday nights. Up to two weeks of RTO permitted; must be
submitted with application. Travelers must work 2 out of 3 major
holidays. Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must reside
more than 100 miles from the facility. Pending licenses are
accepted, but the license must be in hand prior to the start date.
Scrubs are mandatory; travelers will wear designated scrubs with
specific branding. The environment is 100% nicotine-free. Daily
patient ratios range from 5 to 6 during the day and 6 at night.
Travelers must be prepared to participate in a mandatory charting
class during orientation week. Compliance documents must be
completed by the deadline prior to the start of the contract. All
contracts must end on a Sunday. Travelers must go into labs within
48-72 hours of accepting the offer. 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing
