Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Paramedic - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: Ongoing - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Staff Paramedic – Occupational Health Location: Omaha, NE Schedule: Monday–Friday (some Saturdays) | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Work Environment: On-site construction project Position Summary Are you an experienced Paramedic looking to use your skills in a proactive, prevention-focused environment—without the sirens? The Occupational Health Paramedic provides on-site medical support focused on injury prevention, early intervention, and workforce health. This role partners closely with site safety leadership to keep workers safe, healthy, and productive on a nationally recognized construction project. This is a structured daytime schedule with competitive pay and strong benefits. Key Responsibilities Clinical Care - Triage and treat occupational and minor non-occupational injuries - Provide follow-up care per evidence-based protocols - Support workers’ compensation and risk management processes Clinic Operations - Document all care in EMR (Cority) - Maintain a clean, stocked clinic - Communicate with MMC leadership and local providers Safety & Prevention - Collaborate daily with site safety teams - Lead stretch-and-flex sessions - Conduct site walks to identify health risks - Promote wellness and injury prevention initiatives Onboarding & Compliance - Conduct new hire drug screens and orientation testing - Perform occupational health and substance testing - Participate in weekly team meetings and case reviews Customer Service - Build professional relationships with employees and site leadership - Promote a positive, safety-focused work culture Qualifications Education & Licensure - Current Nebraska Paramedic License - Current ACLS certification - OSHA-30 certification required - Valid driver’s license in good standing Experience - Minimum 2 years of Paramedic experience - Emergency, occupational, or industrial safety experience preferred Skills - Strong clinical decision-making - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Strong documentation and organizational abilities - Ability to work independently in an active construction environment About Mobile Medical Corporation Mobile Medical Corporation (MMC) is a premier occupational health provider specializing in workplace substance abuse testing and on-site medical services nationwide.
