Job Description:
Good Samaritan Health Center is seeking a dedicated and
compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in
the Long Term Care department. This role is critical in our mission
to deliver top-tier healthcare services with a focus on holistic
health and wellness outcomes, specifically tailored for underserved
communities. As an LPN at Good Samaritan, you will be instrumental
in providing direct nursing care to elderly patients, supporting
their everyday needs, and ensuring a continuity of care that
upholds our deeply held values of dignity and respect for all
patients. Administer medications and document therapeutic effects
Take vital signs (temperature, blood pressure etc.) and manage
observational records Assist with personal hygiene, feeding, and
ambulatory care Work collaboratively with RNs and other medical
staff to manage care plans Educate patients and their families on
health conditions and wellness maintenance Proficient in
administering medications and maintaining records Able to handle
emergency and routine scenarios with equal efficiency Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Strong observational and
organizational skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Licensed as a Practical Nurse in the
state of practice CPR certified
