Job Description:
PowerBack Rehabilitation, a leader in post-hospital care, is
seeking a dedicated Speech Therapist to join our dynamic team at
our Sidney and Nebraska City locations. This role is ideal for
passionate individuals who are committed to the rehabilitation and
recovery process, helping patients regain their communication
skills after surgery, injury, or illness. As a Speech Therapist at
PowerBack Rehabilitation, you will develop and implement
specialized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs
in a supportive and innovative environment. Evaluate patient's
speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders
Design and administer individual patient care plans Provide
therapeutic intervention to facilitate communication and swallowing
improvement Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement
comprehensive rehabilitation services Educate family members and
caregivers on treatment strategies and home exercises Maintain
patient records and documentation in accordance with facility and
federal regulations Expertise in various speech therapy techniques
and diagnostics Ability to handle sensitive information
confidentially Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in the use of medical software and tools relevant to
speech therapy Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology ASHA Certificate
of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
