PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68122! Job Title:

Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8, 10, or 12 hours
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: RN
License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have:
Experience in both preop and PACU Experience in Phase II
Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Post
Anesthesia Care Unit specializing as a PreOp RN. Candidates must
have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Shifts can be
scheduled as 8, 10, or 12 hours, depending on the needs of the
unit. Call is required Monday through Friday, as well as on
weekends and holidays. The unit handles various surgical cases,
including orthopedic, bariatric, general surgery, urology, and
gynecology procedures. Nurse to patient ratios in the unit are
maintained at 1:3. Candidates must be experienced in Phase I and
Phase II of post-anesthesia care. Electronic Medical Records are
managed using the EPIC system. Fingernail policy prohibits
artificial nails in patient care areas. Orientation includes
classroom training followed by departmental training. Candidates
are expected to fulfill their role and responsibilities
