Job Description:

PowerBack Rehabilitation is actively seeking a dedicated Speech Therapist to join our post-hospital rehabilitation team in Sidney and Nebraska City, aimed at aiding our patients' recovery through bespoke and intense rehabilitation strategies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders, including speech, language, and swallowing difficulties. This role requires a deep understanding of various treatment modalities, patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to integrate speech therapy with overall patient wellness plans. Evaluate patient language, speech, and swallowing abilities to diagnose disorders. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on patient needs and goals. Provide therapy sessions, track progress, and make adjustments to treatment plans. Educate patients and families about communication disorders and coping strategies. Collaborate with healthcare providers to integrate speech therapy into overall care plans. Maintain patient records and report on treatment outcomes. Participate in continuing education to enhance professional growth. Strong understanding of speech therapy principles and practices. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Proficient in using medical software for patient management. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
