the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find
a qualified OR RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68105! Job Title: Operating
Room RN - Oncology Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty:
Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour; Night
3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of OR RN
experience required License: Current nursing license required
Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: MUST HAVE
oncology surgery experience with general surgery experience.
Minimum level 2 trauma experience; level 1 trauma experience
preferred. Ability to float and work outside of the specialty hired
for. Experience with a variety of cases including Whipple,
Esophagectomy, Ex Lap, Bowel resection, Thyroidectomy, and others
listed below. DaVinci experience highly preferred. Oncology,
Orthopedic, and Neuro experience highly preferred. Description:
This position requires oncology surgery experience and general
surgery experience. The RN will be working with cases including
Whipple, Esophagectomy, Ex Lap, Bowel resection, Thyroidectomy,
Parathyroidectomy, Adrenalectomy-Laparoscopic, Neck dissection,
Breast reduction, breast reconstruction, Mastectomy, Lumpectomy,
Sentinel lymph node biopsy, and Melanoma excision. The RN will
primarily work day shifts with possible night shift rotation.
On-call requirements include approximately 1-2 nights per week and
weekend call approximately every 4-5 weeks. The RN must have
experience with the following procedures: Laryngectomy,
Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Hernia repair, Laparoscopic assisted
procedures, Colorectal Robotic Surgery, and Radical neck
dissection, among others. Travelers must comply with a
nicotine-free policy and are expected to meet documentation
deadlines. Requested time off must be included at the time of
submission. Orientation includes a mandatory charting class and
scrubs will be provided by the facility. Workweek is Monday to
Sunday, and all contracts must end on a Sunday. Correct licenses
must be obtained prior to the start date. 5 Benefits of Travel
