Tigerpaw is on the hunt for a Software Training Specialist to join our overly caffeinated team of Tigers.

The Software Training Specialist is responsible for demonstrating the power of our business automation software to potential clients; onboarding new customers to with one-on-one phone calls, training, and regular communication; and delivering customized training to existing customers. In short, the Software Training Specialist will drive the adoption and usage of our software platform.

You will work collaboratively with other members of our Customer Success team to help customers learn more about our software, find a better way of doing things in the platform, and propel their business forward by ensuring they are getting the most out of their investment. Summary and Responsibilities

Tigerpaw is looking for a Software Training Specialist to act as our newest team member. This person will be responsible for:

  • Learning the technical details concerning how our software works and what problems it solves for our clients
  • Preparing and delivering technical presentations explaining our software products and services to both our existing customers and prospective customers.
  • Collaborating with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support
  • Coaching customers on deploying our software within their organization
  • Conducting online training sessions, including Ask the Expert sessions (like a personalized coaching session with customers), client-requested training, and coached software deployment plans.
  • Writing and updating training-related documentation and videos.
  • Engaging with industry associations and thought leaders to stay ahead of the curve in the Managed Services, Managed Print, and peripheral industries
  • Traveling occasionally for tradeshows, training or software deployment purposes Qualifications and Core Competencies

    Think you d be a good fit to join our Streak of Tigers? Ideally, this is who you are:
    • 2+ years of training experience
    • B.S. or B.A. degree from an accredited university or related experience (tell us why your skills make you a good fit for this role)
    • Excellent presentation skills
    • Great verbal and written communication skills
    • Effective organization skills (you have a system to keep track of things and get them done)
    • Great customer service skills (empathy, understanding, high-fives)
    • Basic understanding of CRM software a plus
    • Ability to establish and maintain a positive and productive working relationship with internal and external audiences Bonus! You identify with most or all of the following:
      • You have a lifelong love of learning and you re not afraid to try new things and you enjoy when a teammate shows you a new technique, strategy, shortcut, or random meme.

      • You like Star Trek or Star Wars. There is no right answer, but you should probably have an opinion on the matter.
      • You are excited to help your team and coworkers, but you are also capable of handling your individual projects and you are always focused on driving projects to completion and success.
      • You like the idea of being part of a true work family where people genuinely care about each other, customers, and about the success of the business.
