Job Description Job Description Forklift Operator Job Description The Warehouse Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of warehouse activities. This includes loading and unloading trailers, supporting production processes, verifying shipments, and assisting with inventory management. Responsibilities Load and unload outbound and inbound trailers, preparing proper documentation. Support production activities by staging production materials, removing finished products from the production floor, and reconciling product pull sheets with production. Ensure accurate inbound and outbound shipments by performing product counts, freight damage assessments, QA check-in inspections, and discrepancy reporting. Maintain the upkeep and cleanliness of the warehouse. Stock shelves and assist with daily inbound and outbound UPS/FedEx shipments. Perform daily equipment checks. Essential Skills One year of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Ability to certify and operate a forklift and other necessary equipment. Ability to lift 65 pounds and perform physical activities such as stooping, kneeling, twisting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Ability to work in extreme weather conditions. Flexible schedule with some weekend hours. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with material handling, picking, packing, and general labor. Experience in shipping, receiving, and warehouse packing. Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. Why Work Here? Employees with perfect attendance over six months are eligible for a drawing to receive bonuses of $10,000, $5,000, or $3,000. After six months of perfect attendance, employees also receive a $300 bonus. There are opportunities for promotion to work coach or management roles, and the possibility to become a direct hire after three months. Work Environment This position requires the ability to work with hay and grass products, so no grass allergies are allowed. The schedule includes Monday to Friday first shift from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and second shift from 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm, with an alternative schedule of Monday to Thursday first shift from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm and second shift from 4:00 pm to 2:00 am. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.54 - $19.54/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
