Job Description Provide support and continuity for the B-2 Mission Planning Environment (MPE) and B-2 Air Force Mission Support System (AFMSS) computer systems. Personnel shall have extensive operational and test experience with U.S. Air Force mission planning systems, with particular focus on B-2 nuclear weapons planning. Experience operating and testing B-2 AFMSS. Provide compatibility expertise for Integrated Strategic Planning and Analysis Network (ISPAN) to B-2 AFMSS integration. Personnel shall have extensive experience with compatibility analysis in order to evaluate and validate ISPAN requirements and ensure correct functionality and interoperability with current and future B-2 AFMSS. Provide extensive knowledge of the B-2 systems technical and functional architectures, including, aircraft, associated weapons and mission planning weapon interfaces. Provide technical support for AFMSS system maintenance and modifications activities. Possess extensive expertise in B-2 aircraft and mission planning configuration management and system life-cycle management processes to support all phases of B-2 AFMSS software design, development, testing and integration. Expertise with processes, database structures and operational software is necessary. Provide support and design requirements for interface and functionality for ISPAN to Bomber AFMSS Interface Control Document (ICD). Provide expertise for update and maintenance of the Configuration Management Plan and Bomber Quality Assurance Program Plan (BQAPP) for the B-2 MPE and AFMSS, Common Low Observable Auto-Router (CLOAR), and B-2 Avionics/Weapons/Electronics (A/W/E/) hardware, software, and databases. The Contractor shall support maintaining the computerized database used to track configuration items and maintenance status, and maintain the technical library necessary to support the configuration management and quality assurance programs. Support conducting Functional and Physical Configuration Audits (FCA/PCA) of the B-2 systems and document the results of the audits. Experience with FCA/PCAs and validating documentation requirements for B-2 software functionality and software testing is required. (A003) Support requirements definitions, technical reviews, program management reviews, Operational Assessment Reviews (OARs) and hardware/software testing as requested by the customer. Twelve trips per year to out-of-area locations are anticipated. Must have experience operating B-2 Bulletin Board System (BBS), Mission Data Preparation System Communication Network (MCN) and Network-based Mission Data Preparation System Communication Network (NetMCN). Contractor personnel performing this task shall require a current Top Secret (TS) clearance, B-2 Top Secret Special Access Program access and Nuclear Command and Control/Extremely Sensitive Information (NC2/ESI) access. Typical Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education Required education: Bachelor Degree Must have experience using an Air Vehicle planning system (e.g., APS, JMPS, PFPS, AFMSS) and have experience as a military air crew member (e.g, Pilot, Navigator). Experience writing requirements and test plan development. Preferred Skills and Education Familiar with software development processes, requirements analysis. Prior experience working in the Air Room at USSTRATCOM or unit level planning with AFMSS/JMPS.
