Job Description B2B Staffing Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Nebraska. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Notes Details: Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM (9-hour shifts) Call Requirements: Weekday and weekend on-call coverage required Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week Overtime: Begins after 40 hours/week Call-Off Policy: Maximum of 2 occurrences per 13-week assignment Requirements: Proficient in total joint and general surgery cases Must be able to circulate and scrub all surgical cases Strong assessment skills, critical thinking, and the ability to effectively prioritize patient and team needs Active Nebraska RN license Current BLS and ACLS certifications Department Notes 4 OR suites, plus additional rooms for minor procedures Specialty Profile Notes Rural hospital and RN needs to be the “jack of all trades” and have experience with scrub and circulate. DaVinci robot experience preferred. Perform a lot of Ortho cases. Facility has a lot of visiting physicians that hold clinic for ENT, Ortho, ect. RN will circulate C-sections. Since it is a small department, RN will assist with turning rooms, cleaning, and picking cases. RN must have a positive attitude and be a team player. Candidate should be extremely honest during phone interview regarding their skill set and abilities as they do expect travelers to come in and hit the ground running. Scrubs: Hospital provided Orientation: Flexibility to start RN on any day of the week. Brief hospital orientation to obtain badge and review hospital policies and procedures and then will report to department where the RN will be checked off on competencies.
