qualifications will not be considered. A prominent medical center
in Eastern Nebraska is seeking skilled Registered Nurses for a
13-week contract opportunity on a specialized Progressive Care Unit
(PCU) focusing on oncology and trauma patients. This role requires
dedication to patient-centered care and the ability to thrive in a
fast-paced, culturally diverse environment. Schedule: 36 hours per
week 12-hour shifts available: 7a-7p, 7a-3p, 3p-7p, 7p-11p, 11p-7a,
7p-7a Every other weekend required Self-scheduling to support
flexibility Qualifications: Valid RN license with minimum 1 year of
clinical experience; PCU and oncology experience preferred BLS and
ACLS certification required NIHSS certification required
Chemotherapy certification preferred but not mandatory Successful
completion of a pass/fail nursing skills exam during orientation
with a 90% minimum score Drivers license to verify local residency
(within 50 miles radius; no current employment with associated
healthcare systems) Adherence to policies such as prohibition on
artificial nails Responsibilities: Provide nursing care for adults
on a 27-bed mixed PCU/Oncology/Med-Surg unit with a
nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 (PCU) and 1:5 (Med-Surg) Administer
and titrate drips including insulin and cardizem as needed Monitor
ventilated patients and hemodynamic devices (CVP, arterial lines,
Swan-Ganz catheters) Collaborate with interdisciplinary team
members including PT/OT, case management, social work, and
dieticians Uphold patient dignity and respect cultural diversity
while managing complex oncology care from diagnosis through
end-of-life support Perks and Support: Comprehensive 2-day

of modern EMR system (EPIC) and advanced specialty equipment such
